Responsibilities

OpenPeru Travel, travel agency, acts only as an intermediary agent between clients and suppliers. Its function is to coordinate the services provided by airlines, bus operators, train operators, generic transport operators, hotels, tour operators, and/or any other independent firm.

OpenPeru Travel has no control over these companies, so in all travel arrangements our agency acts on behalf of our clients, organizing on their behalf the means of transportation, accommodation, or other required touristic services, for this reason, we do not assume responsibility in case of accidents, losses, damages, delays, inconveniences or any other type of irregularity caused by defects in any vehicle, or through situations of omission, carelessness or negligence of any company or person hired by the third party company, to fulfill or carry out any service or part of a tourist service offered.

OpenPeru does not assume responsibilities or additional expenses caused by cancelations, delays, changes in itineraries as a result of acts of vandalism, strikes, wars, government actions, weather conditions, or any other type of factor out of our control.

OpenPeru Travel reserves the right to accept or reject any reservation request from any client to any tour or tourist package or to cancel or change a tourist package if the circumstances warrant. The request for any type of service requested from our company will be understood as consent to these conditions.

Prices and Rates

All prices and rates are expressed in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice, until confirmation of reservation, after confirmation of availability, and receipt of prepayment.

The prices and rates of tourist packages and services are per person, include services, transfers, excursions, specialized guides, entrance tickets, and other components that are explicitly specified in the text of the package or service and do not include what is not in this, they also do not include extras, tips, airport taxes, baggage excess or any other not specified in the program.

Itinerary

Itineraries are planned with great care, but some exceptional times, for reasons of force majeure such as weather conditions, river levels, time of arrival or departure of planes, buses, or trains, or for any other relevant reason, it may be necessary to change the order of activities in order to guarantee the best way of the visit, so the itinerary should only be assumed as a basic guide.

Reservations

All reservations will be subject to confirmation until the completion of the prepayment according to the percentage agreed with the client. However, the provision of services will only be given if the total price is duly paid in compliance with the terms agreed with the client.

Payments for our services can only be made as indicated in our payment methods. Once the reservation of the package or tourist service is confirmed to the client by a confirmation message, it will be guaranteed, except for the cancellation by the suppliers for reasons stated under the title of responsibilities that are totally unrelated to the company.

The confirmation of the services is subject to availability, if there is no availability, another service of a similar category and price will be provided.

Regarding cancellations and refunds of money, these will be regulated by the terms and conditions stipulated in the Cancellation, Refund, and Refund Policies.

Hotels

Hotel reservations can only be confirmed if full payment for services has been confirmed (unless expressly agreed otherwise). If a timely agreement has been reached between the company and the client, the reservation may be confirmed with a partial payment.

The client will only need to appear at the hotel with the confirmation code and identify himself with his passport (if he is a foreigner) or with his national identity document (if he is a Peruvian). In case of breakfast or other food is included in the offered hotel rate, this will be clearly specified. The client must comply with the hours established for the consumption of these meals according to the hotel's policy. Any extra consumption not clearly specified as included will have to be paid directly by the client and will be solely their responsibility.

Air Tickets

Air ticket prices and fares are subject to availability and change without prior notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries, flight numbers, and the scheduled flight time are subject to change up to the date of travel by the airline.

All air ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full receipt of full payment for the tickets and until they have been issued. Tickets issued for the air transportation service do not allow refunds or change of route. However, change of dates will only be accepted up to 7 days before the original flight date if a fare has been taken that allows it, after payment of a penalty (subject to variation without prior notice). The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice.

In the case of electronic air tickets (e-tickets), it will not be necessary to present them, it is only necessary for the client to identify himself with his passport (in case of being a foreigner) or with his national identity document (in case of being resident in the country).

The airlines serve your meals or snacks according to their own policies. Customers will be responsible for consuming them or not. Any extra consumption not clearly specified as included will have to be paid directly by the client and will be the sole responsibility of the client and the airline for any consumption not paid.

Bus Tickets

Bus ticket prices and fares are subject to availability and change without prior notice until issued. The schedules and itineraries of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the operating company of the buses.

All bus ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full receipt of full payment for the tickets and until they have been issued. Tickets issued for the bus transportation service do not allow refunds, do not allow change of route, or change of date. The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice. Bus operators serve their meals or snacks according to their own policies. Customers will be responsible for consuming them or not.

Train Transportation Service

Train ticket prices and fares are subject to availability and change without notice until issued. The dates, schedule, and itineraries of these tickets are subject to change by the operating company of the trains.

All train ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full receipt of full payment for the tickets and until they have been issued. Tickets issued for the train transportation service do not allow refunds, do not allow change of route, or change of date. The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice. Train operators serve your meals or snacks according to their own policies. Customers will be responsible for consuming them or not.

Any extra consumption not clearly specified as included will have to be paid directly by the client and will be the sole responsibility of the client and the train operator for any consumption not paid.

Payment Policy

Our payment policy, in the case of individual clients, requires that our services be fully paid 15 days before the arrival of the clients unless different conditions are agreed individually with the client by mutual written agreement. In the case of groups, our payment policy requires that our services must be fully paid 25 days before the arrival of the group unless different conditions are agreed with the client by mutual written agreement.

Any modification to agreed services or the contracting of new services once the trip has started will be paid prior to the provision of the service.

Documentation               

The client is responsible for having a valid passport or other travel document and visas according to their nationality accepted by the laws of the governments of the countries they are visiting. To make reservations, it will be necessary to have the following information for each client: Full Name, Passport Number, Nationality, Age, and Gender. It is recommended to report allergies, illnesses, client conditions, characteristics of each client, food preferences, etc.

Luggage

The amount of luggage and weight limit are stipulated in the air ticket and are according to the rate selected by the client.

The client is responsible for his luggage and any claim for loss or theft must be made directly to the transport operator.

Obligations

If any service cannot be provided due to an error, failure, or direct fault attributable to the service operator, the service operator will make its best effort to provide compensation of equal value to the service not provided. If a service equivalent to the service not provided cannot be provided, it will be refunded at the actual price of the service, excluding any consequence, indirect costs, or any other cost associated with not performing this service. Any claim regarding any service not provided during the trip will only be accepted if it is made, in writing, within 7 days after the end of the trip. Regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds of money, these will be

regulated by the terms and conditions stipulated in the Cancellation, Return & Refund Policies.

CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

If a cancellation request is received up to and including 60 days before the arrival date of the clients, the return or refund will be subject to a penalty of 15% of the total cost for administrative expenses, not including the financial expenses associated with the cost of the bank transfer, credit card commission and any other expenses and/or costs associated with the return. Except for exceptions specified below. If a cancellation request is received 59-30 days before the arrival date of the clients, the return or refund will be subject to a charge of 50% cancellation fees, not including the financial expenses associated with the cost of the transfer. banking, credit card commission, and some other expense and/or cost associated with the return.
